Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Agriculture and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA), which rose 1.96% or 220.0 points to trade at 11420.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 1.47% or 400.0 points to end at 27700.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was up 1.20% or 300.0 points to 25300.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which fell 5.70% or 160.0 points to trade at 2645.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 2.95% or 0.7 points to end at 23.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was down 1.91% or 560.0 points to 28780.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 13 to 12 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) rose to 3-years highs; rising 1.96% or 220.0 to 11420.0.
US coffee C for May delivery was up 1.93% or 2.75 to $145.18 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 0.24% or 4.50 to hit $1904.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.36% or 4.55 to trade at $1249.35 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.18% to 2934.22, while BRL/COP rose 0.69% to 948.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 101.72.
