Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 2.32% or 60.0 points to trade at 2650.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) added 1.33% or 15.0 points to end at 1140.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 1.14% or 340.0 points to 30040.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which fell 1.47% or 15.0 points to trade at 1005.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 1.14% or 100.0 points to end at 8710.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was down 0.86% or 0.2 points to 23.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 12 to 7 and 6 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.72% or 1.04 to $143.23 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 1.77% or 34.00 to hit $1950.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.45 to trade at $1234.35 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.04% to 2976.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.30% to 954.67.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.61% at 101.54.
