Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which rose 1.06% or 320.0 points to trade at 30380.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 1.02% or 120.0 points to end at 11920.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 0.85% or 100.0 points to 11840.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 1.23% or 120.0 points to trade at 9610.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 1.10% or 0.2 points to end at 18.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was down 0.64% or 15.0 points to 2315.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 14 to 12 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.06% or 320.0 to 30380.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.04% or 0.07 to $163.95 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.62% or 17.00 to hit $2757.00 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.53% or 6.70 to trade at $1266.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.20% to 2971.23, while BRL/COP rose 0.39% to 946.19.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.08% at 98.61.
