Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Public Services, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 2.49% or 25.0 points to trade at 1030.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 1.94% or 90.0 points to end at 4720.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 1.69% or 180.0 points to 10800.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which fell 0.38% or 40.0 points to trade at 10560.0 at the close. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) declined 0.29% or 120.0 points to end at 40860.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was down 0.28% or 60.0 points to 21540.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 16 to 9 and 7 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for September delivery was up 1.79% or 2.43 to $137.98 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 2.97% or 59.50 to hit $2065.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 9.29 to trade at $1269.29 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.47% to 3001.98, while BRL/COP rose 0.09% to 957.81.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.64% at 93.17.
