Investing.com – Belgium stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Construction & Materials, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Brussels, the BEL 20 added 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the BEL 20 were Ackermans V.Haaren (BRU:ACKB), which rose 3.05% or 3.50 points to trade at 118.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Delta Lloyd (AMS:DLL) added 1.29% or 0.22 points to end at 17.52 and Ageas (BRU:AGES) was up 1.19% or 0.410 points to 34.845 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DIeteren SA (BRU:IETB), which fell 1.43% or 0.520 points to trade at 35.790 at the close. Befimmo-Sicafi (BRU:BEFBb) declined 1.38% or 0.840 points to end at 59.810 and Cofinimmo-Sicafi (BRU:COFB) was down 0.79% or 0.78 points to 97.82.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Brussels Stock Exchange by 107 to 64 and 4 ended unchanged.

Gold for June delivery was down 0.32% or 3.90 to $1204.80 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 2.85% or 1.68 to hit $60.66 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract rose 2.36% or 1.53 to trade at $66.56 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.30% to 1.1127, while EUR/GBP fell 0.58% to 0.7098.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.31% at 95.36.
