Investing.com - Litecoin was trading at $61.420 by 18:34 (22:34 GMT) on the Investing.com Index on Friday, up 10.27% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage gain since August 17.

The move upwards pushed Litecoin's market cap up to $3.51B, or 1.59% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Litecoin's market cap was $14.10B.

Litecoin had traded in a range of $55.159 to $61.474 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Litecoin has seen a stagnation in value, as it only moved 1.27%. The volume of Litecoin traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $252.53M or 1.55% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $48.93 to $61.54 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Litecoin is still down 85.38% from its all-time high of $420.00 set on December 12.

Elsewhere in cryptocurrency trading

Bitcoin was last at $6,553.7 on the Investing.com Index, up 4.12% on the day.

Ethereum was trading at $315.36 on the Investing.com Index, a gain of 9.8%.

Bitcoin's market cap was last at $112.69B or 50.87% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while Ethereum's market cap totaled $31.81B or 14.36% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
