Sterling Capital Funds - Sterling Capital Short Duration Bond ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by Sterling Capital Management LLC. The fund invests in fixed income markets across the globe. It primarily invests in investment grade securities including corporate debt securities, bonds, notes, municipal securities, convertible securities, debentures, securities issued or guaranteed by the U.S. government or its agencies and instrumentalities, repurchase agreements, mortgage-backed securities and asset-backed securities which are rated in one of the four highest rating categories by a nationally recognized statistical rating organization. The fund seeks to maintain an average duration between 1 and 3 years. It employs fundamental analysis along with a top-down security picking approach focusing on factors like sectors, credit risk, macro trends in the economy, puts, calls, sinking fund requirements, prepayment and extension risk, and individual company financial data for potential corporate holdings to create its portfolio.
