I have bee Yatched the ProShares UVXY ETF for 5 months but I keep getting corrected by the experts on this forum. Most of us are missing something, especially the Truth.

Kevin, There are few real experts in today's world. The entire world financial system has never experienced anything like this, that we know of, in world history. When the former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said we are in "uncharted waters" this is what he meant. I got lucky in March, when I bought the UVXY at $13.00 and sold at around $90.00, tripling my money.  I'm in again but quite a bit down. I still feel S&P volatility is still highly probable. We just don't know when or what the trigger will be. I'm going to hang in there. I don't think this is sometime you day trade. Buy and wait. I wish I would have waited to get back in  but picking a bottom is highly unlikely. The underlying economy is much weaker than the lame stream media is telling us but sadly most people still listen to them.

Darren Teoh  You're thinking this market is rational. None of the markets are rational anymore. There are a bunch of big players with lots of money and they play the markets like we are their violins. As and example, why would the DOW and Dow futures just go negative at 2:40 EST? The UVXY is a hedge against market volatility. Don't day trade it. buy and hold, or don't trade it, is my advice. People are shorting it hoping everyone sell their long positions.
