There probably will be a big spike up one of these days, but bagholders will ***up their accounts waiting for it.  Better to do bear spreads, etc., whenever it does go up.  Like right now, for example.

Another day of covering shorts early and then looking for a day trade long or short.  Decently profitable, but the intraday movement has been crazy.  Guess I'll just keep doing the same in moderation until the pattern breaks.  Green is green, I suppose.

VIX and VX gap has closed to about 5%.  I don't so much like uvxy as I'm concerned about the market for tomorrow.  I'm thinking a small uvxy hedge for overnight looks like a decent play.  Anyone else seeing anything?

Jw William    Hey, thanks, JW, didn't consider that.  I'll check it out.  I had an order in for 30 SVXY  $55 calls (expiry in ten days) at $3.35, and I left the office at cash close thinking I wouldn't get filled.  Now I return and find that the order filled 14 minutes after closing.  Whether that's good or bad I will soon find out.
