a long way down to go

you look at this and history shows a consistent pattern. The fund bottoms out big time and as rhe market recoveres it returns at an accelerator level . When it gets near it's bottom , I do become anxious wondering if it Could drop off the face of the earth.

TQQQ $27.58 -2.02% @ Close! After rising to 41% bullish, the Bpndx has reversed back lower to “bear confirmed” status. Fell to 31% and finished @ 34%

We can see the bullish divergence as the MARKET CAP weighted QQQ/TQQQ hover near the lows, but not quite as many stocks inside are on a point and figure sell signal. This can also be seen in the QQQE, which is EQUAL WEIGHT, each stock 1% weight.

QQQE just above its 5/12/22 body. This tells us the LARGER of the large cap tech are still seeing distribution, but parts are firming a bit.

John Lakran... Melvin didn’t manage the hedge (GME) and probably deserved to close their doors. I would have pulled my account after that mess.

Note: See chat ... on May 12 close, $BPNDX low was 12.00, finished 14.00. When I first began back testing some 25 years ago, this is when the lightbulb went on. RISK and who has it on a quantitative basis.

it does not matter if it is the bottom, but surley now is the time to put in the cash, nobody can predict the bottom and if it falls more, more to put in. as everyone says buy low...sell high..

cc cc .... I will defer to the prospectus .... "could lose all, or a portion of investment." Treat every security as if it could go to zero, even if just 0.0001% probability, or go to infinity and you'll be fine.

Jeff Bailey Haven't seen the statement neither in QQQ or TQQQ prospectus - but even if it is stated, it would mean all shares of the NASDAQ would go to zero (over 3500),as the QQQ will always have the top 100. If that happens, then I think it will be more than WW3 ..

Yep. It can go to zero. Would take more than WWIII, but there is a slight probability. I’ve been around too long, well before the .com and saw what happened to the QQQ, so the structure of TQQQ could have it go $0.

Bought at 33.48 - added to my inverse pyramid, had to add quite a lot - lol since it is down 60% and I double the buy every 10%, same with UPRO - but UPRO is only down 40%

That would be ok - then it would hit 90% drop - my current average price is 8 (I am doing this since 2016). I sold chunks last time around November - so this is still all paying with my realized gains. Love doing this - lol
