If Elon is smart - and he is -he will ignore calls for a refresh on Tesla body styles. Tesla body is now rather iconic and it hasn't changed. That means you can make the PORSCHE Play ... look at a Porsche 20-30 years ago and it looks like a PORSCHE . A few style minor changes but nothing at all besides minor changes. It's a PORSCHE - people don't care. They see it on the road and they know it's a porche ... Elon can do the same thing - focus on "it's a Tesla" ... MAKE sure the quality is good and keep updating the software and the FSD and the mileage and the speed and make a few minor style changes like porsche did. Thats it.... Make the tesla body a true Icon ...like porsche . Don't cheapen it up with some new fangled Chinese chrome and design that changes all the time.

Tesla isn’t Porsche and it’s trying to be mass market. It wouldn’t work. People in this segment of the market want fresh body styles and if musk does not deliver, they will go somewhere else as they are doing now.

actually the Porsche analogy fits perfect, my buddy drive a 2012 Model S, the thing looks impressive and fresh, he's got over 100k miles and the car still drives great, horse and buggy enthusiasts need a refresh every few years to stay excited about the boring designs most companies are putting out there, Porsche is definitely an exception.

actually the financial data was there for folks paying attention, energy margins topping 24.6% with 75% projected growth year over year, they also reported that the recent cost reduction efforts should produce 1.1billion in savings, the compute capacity gains are already realized as well

plans to pump and dump. There's not enough demand. They can build all they want. Without new cheaper models they won't sell. Early 2025 with new models is a blatant lie by Musk seeing the damage Reuters report did exposing the truth about M2 cancelled. Developing new models and govt approval takes at least couple of years. Not half a year. SEC better probe and sue Musk on this.

Energy business is going no where fast. The 4680 battery is a failure and can't ramp. There are already solid state batteries and much cheaper in production and ready to ramp from China. That's why he fears them and demands trade barriers. Only moat Tesla ever had was the SC. Opening that up just killed the 2 hit (3,Y) wonder.

energy business growing 75% with excellent margins, should come in around 10B for 2024, up from 6B in 2023, really hard to see how anyone can claim this is going nowhere. Energy storage is the future of the grid.
