Standard Chartered Bank (Pakistan) Limited (the Bank) is engaged in the banking business. The Bank's segments include Corporate and Institutional banking, Commercial banking, Retail banking and central and other items. The Corporate and Institutional banking segment services include deposits, trade, advisory services and other lending activities. The Commercial banking segment serves small and medium sized (SME) corporate clients and its services include deposits, trade, wealth management and other lending activities for SME and local corporate clients. The Retail banking segment services include wealth management, deposits, secured lending (mortgages and overdrafts), un-secured lending (credit cards and personal loans) for priority, personal and small business clients. The central and other items segment activities not directly related to a client segment, which includes asset and liability management, specific strategic investments and certain central costs of the bank.
