Schuler AG, through its subsidiaries, manufactures and supplies metal forming machines, systems, dies, and services. It operates through eight divisions: Automotive, Automotive New Markets, Hydraulic, Industry, Systems, Intelligent Tooling Solutions, Automation, and Service. The company offers automotive products, such as mechanical press lines, tryout presses, transfer presses, Progressive die presses, and cutting presses for blanking lines; and hydraulic presses and production equipment, including hydraulic transfer and tryout presses, and fully automated press lines for sheet metal forming to automotive manufacturers, as well as to forging and household equipment, aerospace, and railway industries. It also provides industry solutions comprising solutions for blanking and forming systems, as well as forging lines and system solutions for pipe production to automobile manufacturers, as well as to household equipment, railway, aerospace, and pipe industries; and systems and services, such as high-speed presses and systems for customers in battery production, metal packaging, minting technology, and electric motor laminations fields, as well as consulting services. In addition, the company offers automating machine tools, including control systems for linked production lines; and systems for manufacturing and transporting of blanks, work pieces, and dies to automobile manufacturers. Further, it provides die making solutions; servicing and maintenance services; spare parts; machine repairs; machine relocation services; and production relaunch services. The company sells its products and services in Europe, the Americas, Asia, and internationally. The company was founded in 1839 and is headquartered in Göppingen, Germany. Schuler AG is a subsidiary of Andritz Beteiligungsgesellschaft IV Gmbh.
