Unannounced trading halt? ZERO volume on Friday???
The Company is now valued at 3200 ounces of gold...
is that a good thing or a bad thing?
Well, ha its hard to tell really. It might be super under-valued (considering their measured and indicated reserves) or over-valued by 3200 ounces if they never produce:)
In the most recent annual report they pat themselves on the back for taking years to even identify a treatment rig provider... New Zealand suppliers have had this capability - are actually known globally for this - what was (and remains) the holdup? Also, they are slipping in "needing to ID a secondary source of ore" as a possible future justification for delaying processing any ore. a bit confusing considering that in 2019 they significantly revised upwards the reserves of economically viable ore. If the published reserves are there, it will take decades to extract. It is possible they have actual gold production as a much lower priority vs their shareholders.
Yeah, mining stocks are a bit risky. But assuming they ever get around to extracting their confirmed and probable reserves (which are worth 26% more than the highest price in 2019 - when they were audited). So the 2 billion dollar question is: When mine open production? 2022? 2023? Im not sure, but you have a smaller scale gravity extraction rig... maybe use it? Some extraction would be better than essentially none? These are hard questions apparently.
Have you bought any Jason?
yes
Average volume rising. Anyone else think its strange the RBNZ holds no gold (since 1993)? All assets held subject to counterparty (default), inflation, and devaluation risks.
