I've come to hate the stock exchanges in the United States. Instead of protecting the market share of investor-focused companies, they have surrendered the law to the whims of company owners, allowing them to make arbitrary, politically motivated, and periodically made business decisions that avoid taxation and profit sharing with investors. Sadly, as global citizens, all we expect from companies listed on the United States stock exchange—a country that strives for the well-being and peace of humanity in the global market—is fair and respectful of commercial law.
