Vulcan Energy acquiring the geothermal drilling rigs must be a positive outcome, for several reasons. It means that drilling permits, EIAs, etc should be in place. Subsequently, the financing of the drilling equipment means that the company must have perfromed thier due diligence before committing funds. The risk associated with these permits and authorisations must have been avoided.

Only way for Vulcan to get out of this one is to publish the prefeasibility report, be transparent and impartial. Other than that, the report is pretty convincing if the details captured are true.

Vulcan Energy Resources, Annual Report June 2021, although the idea is great, in summary, the company requires key components of production, including land, production facilities, human resource, etc. It is difficult to see how this company will turn profitable within 4 years time considering the major milestone requirements ahead. Besides the offtake agreement, the company currently consists of allot of paperwork which culminates to the selling of the IDEA.
