With the acquisition of Cooper Tire Goodyear has strengthened there mid-tier tire production (lite truck, SUV, and passenger car) capabilities. It doubled their presence in Chinas market which is the fastest growing tire market at this time, globally. This benefits Goodyear financial in both short term and long term.Goodyear also has 85% of the EV market including Tesla. There is no reason this stock shouldn't be $40 a share.
I worked in this company . Very very bad senior management with high turnover. and too much politics. I advise stay far away in iorder not to loose money. Remember Dinlop acquisition. Complete failure.
Management has changed along with their vision and the market. Goodyear has the largest share of the EV market with over 85%. Now with more room for growth in the mid-tier tire markets as well. Strong investment opportunity. This stock should be around $40 and may do so before the end of the year.
