The company was formerly known as Northwest Yongxin Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. and changed its name to GEPIC Energy Development Co., Ltd. in December 2012. GEPIC Energy Development Co., Ltd. was founded in 1997 and is based in Lanzhou, China. GEPIC Energy Development Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Gansu Province Electric Power Investment Group Co., Ltd.
