With US-China trade war escalating it's only a matter of time before china imposes export restrictions on rare earths. After that happens MP materials will basically have a monopoly on the market.

It's only a matter of time before we see contracts with DOD and probably many other us companies. The supply chains are shifting away from china at a rapid pace, and at the center of all of this is MP materials. For example china reportedly exported 0 gallium and germanium in august 2023, how long before they stop exporting NdPr, certium and other metals this company produces? Not to mention that they also just started refining and are getting increasingly more lucrative government subsidies. The stock is a no brainer at current prices if you have the patience to hold it for a year or two.

Stock price now is back to late 2020 levels; at that time the company was loss making, and was generating revenues equal to around 1/3rd of the current levels.IMO the market has aggresively overreacted to Tesla’s announcement. What do you think?
