Farfetch has broader reach around the world with a diversity of brands that is much larger than its competitors. Many of the items it sells are exclusive. Our research shows that its brand assortment, brand image, geographic breadth, an inventory-light business model, a more compelling offering for luxury partners, and artificial intelligence are all competitive edges for the company. We believe Farfetch is well-positioned for the continued market share shift from offline to online in this category. The personal luxury goods market has trailed other categories in online penetration, but consumer behaviors and preferences shifted as a result of the pandemic creating more comfort with purchasing goods like this online. Changed behavior and the general shift to a higher portion of Millennial and Gen Z luxury shoppers supports this continued shift as does the growth in emerging market demand.”

In 2000, the Nasdaq lost 39.28% of its value. In March 2000, the P/E for the Nasdaq was a sky-high 175. The P/E now is just under 22. Nasdaq has dropped nearly 33 percent so far in 2022. Do you see the difference ? Why NASDAQ should drop now monere than in 2000 ?

In 2000, the Nasdaq P/E was a sky-high 175, now the P/E is 23. Which one is higher 175 in 2000 then or 23 in 2003 ?

We will see , we may see hopefully nasdaq and sp buttom in 2023 , but that will be at least 20 % down from where we are now ! And all stocks will be destroyed definetely

I guarantee you that the S&P 5000 will not fall below 3800. In 2023 we will see 4500 points and maybe even 5000 points! I studied economics and finance for many years, and therefore I understand the whole economic and political situation in the world. Only good news awaits us in 2023: 1. Complete cancellation of covid restrictions in China 2. Reduction of inflation to 4% 3. End of the war in Ukraine.

The NASDAQ high was 15,852 right now -32.42%. Do you think it is possible for the NASDAQ index to fall by 50% per year? This is the same as the S&P 500 falling to 2400. Do you understand what that means? If that happens, Apple will cost $60 and Telsa will cost $40. Ford $3.00

It’s not the same with sp falling 50 % ! Nasdaq will drop to 7k to see sp 2500 ! But i don’t see it so bad ! But definetelly 3200 and 9k for nasdaq we will see !

Nearly half of young adults in the US are living at home with their parents, and all that saved rent is fueling a luxury boomNearly half of US young adults are living at home — a high not seen since the Great Depression.That's great news for luxury retailers, because saving on daily necessities like rent and groceries is freeing up disposable income for discretionary spending, a team of Morgan Stanley analysts led by Edouard Aubin found."This is of course not the only reason luxury-goods consumers are getting younger in the West (social media playing also an important part) but we see it as fundamentally positive for the industry," the analysts wrote in the note.The British luxury brand Burberry reported an 11% year-over-year increase in sales in the quarter ending in September. The luxury-goods maker LVMH, which owns brands including Dior, Tiffany, Moët Hennessy, and Louis Vuitton, reported a 19% year-over-year increase in revenue for the third quarter of 2022, thanks to robust demand from Europe, the United States, and Japan.

This is probably going to end up in a takeover... Great technology and brand platform, focused high premium market, decent sales, discounted price. If a buyer can add more reach (guys like Alibaba) this could be seriously attractive.
