          • Very good prospect for this stock, currently undervalued.  EDF's revenue  is extremely sensitive to electricity prices, 0,3billion euro of extra EBITDA for every €/MWh. Weather conditions in Europe (heat wave combined with low wind conditions, droughts in northern Europe and decrease of hydropower), commodity prices (gas prices are the highest in 5 years in the continent) combined with high CO2 prices (4 fold increase last year, passing from around 5 euro to around 20/tCO2; roughly  +€1/tCO2 price leads to an increase of around +€0.4/MWh for French electricity. ) are contributing to increase power prices in EDF's markets in Europe. On top of that, there is a double effect of carbon prices for EDF, for EDF's production is very much based on nuclear and hydro, producing no CO2. Hydropower production has increased in France +38% ; nuclear production 5%. First quart results have been reviewed  upwards (stock went up 15% aprox since); expect 2018 final results to beat expectations again.
