how high has the oil price to be so that it finally can go up again ?
why that ?
Atleast 60 at this point it has a lot of debt to carry
hmm yes but they also made alot of profit befor
I am only buying and waiting. It'll be gold egg. But we have to wait.
dont know why anyone would buy these stocks, it is not about valuation, it is about momentum. as long as tech produces dd growth this will go down even if dividend is paid. dont be stuck, sell and make money on growth stocks
will this ever go up again 😔?
Market cap of $55bn for a book value of $68bn at the end of June, that is after taking massive impairment hits recently. 34bn cash and ST debt of 11bn and LT debt of 65bn. Looks to me like a good value, even with global economic struggle and low demand for oil and gas. Whether we like it or not the world is not going to replace oil tomorrow (i wish we could), its a long journey. I think the company has good management. However, we are yet to see a clear roadmap towards sustainability, and how that is going to work for the company and be funded in terms of CapEx...etcWhat do you think? Appreciate your valuable views.
I think oil and gas will pick up again sooner than we thought. Tough winter as airplane consumption gonna be weak. I would say by Q 2 2021 oil demand should be back, but that doesn't mean oil stocks follow. I would pick up shares under 200 GBP and average down every 10% drop. I also think this are cash cows with great value, probably only undervalued sector at the moment
hmm...buy, not buy?
The oil sector is attractive at the moment. Strong companies with energy transition plans. However, COVID situation is not getting better. Winter is coming and the number of cases is starting to rise. I expect we hit the March bottom, unless a vaccine shows up. I'll hold as of now, but won't buy more until we are near the bottom.
I don't think it will go much lower than this. Potential is there, and dividend is attractive at this price. Sure it might get caught up with mass selling generally due to lockdowns, but I think the dips will be bought by bargain seekers relatively quickly.
It has already dropped 1.2% lol.. I expect it to drop more until reaching March lows. The second wave is becoming worst than the first. It will recover, but it will first drop more.
, What is your target price? 200p
BP is a great company selling at a very low price considering the market share and fcf. The best energy stock in the world right now with superb management. I am sick and tired of reading rubbish from short lemmings. Enough is enough.
Dam right.
how many shares you have with bp?
Strong Giant will emerge stronger from this whole situation.. Vastly undervalued company great potential!!
Crises like this in the energy sector, in particular, provide opportunities to invest. Distressed assets affect valuations and presents opportunities for new investments, and providing what we call patient capital — capital that can go in and stay there until the role is satisfied. Buy with both hands this beautiful strong petrogiant!!
this is the end of this evil company
