Asia Insurance Company Limited engages in the non-life insurance business in Pakistan. It operates through four segments; Fire and Property Damage, Marine Aviation and Transport, Motor, and Miscellaneous. The company offers motor insurance cover against accidental damage, theft, snatching, armed hold up, third party liability, and terrorism; property insurance for factories, offices, and home against fire, lightning and allied perils; marine insurance cover against imports and exports of consignments, loss or damage of cargo during transit by air, sea, and rail/road, as well as dispatch of goods; agriculture insurance coverage against agriculture loans; and travel insurance. It also provides miscellaneous insurance that covers insurance of engineering projects for electrical equipment and machinery breakdown, contractor all risks, erection all risk, and bonds and guarantees; and health insurance services to corporate employees and their family to safeguard against injuries and accidents, as well as personal accident insurance for individuals and policies for school going children. In addition, the company offers motor, property, marine, miscellaneous, and health takaful products and services. Asia Insurance Company Limited was incorporated in 1979 and is headquartered in Lahore, Pakistan.
