US Cocoa Futures Discussions

If you're long, get out. Accept the loss. It's over.
Longs are dead. Finally :)
Production is just 10% less this year.. Price is up more than 200%. Every shop in eu and usa full with chocolate..... Its just traders. You will price like cumin seeds in Indian market
Professional traders would never get on here and post anything. I’m NOT a professional trader, so please don’t take what I wrote. ICE exchange increased initial margins on cocoa futures by 23% per contract in April. The only reason for ICE to do this is to limit the speculators and lower the volatility. So big dog speculators quit cause ICE created a hostile environment for them, which ended up with the plunge. Current aggregate Cocoa Futures Open Interest is only 139 K. The lowest since 2011, and it keeps shrinking. Big dog speculators are the major reason driving the price high, but now they quit and left their followers alone. The Longs lost their engine.
I can still see 15 and 20k in the future. However I said this before : "More likely, it will retrace to that 5104 peak in Jul 77 before it ever attempts those targets." and "But for you bears, if it does take a dive, it will most likely be triggered by something ICE does."
tatizo ni nini sana mbona zimeshuka kwa Kasi sana
told you all to get out
10k when? Maybe EOW?
Never
may copy 1977 , Alert
I think now is the bottom floor for long
Wrong. It will retrace 50% of the move. Headed towards 6200. Sell rallies to 8700
It might but first i see long to about 9k
yes, the m30 looks like a perfect double bottom... unless it dips deeper. But, it doesn't make any sense because ... supply is nowhere in sight till EOY.
what do you expect for tomorow guys ?
Never a good sign that its closing near yesterdays low.. FED tonight may shake this one up pretty bad if Powell is hawkish but remains to see still, still unfinished business at that gap 10700, it will come but question is just when. Remains to see when it opens tomorrow!
Another fall
Closed short 8200 from 8900. No need to wait for tgt 7900.🎯 tomorrow another day
Tomorrow above 9500! Lets go!
3000-3500?! OMG, how sure are you about that?
there is no way
I am not sure but expecting. Although if 7800 hold then it can go up to 10k again but today daily candle suggesting it will easily breakdown
El precio subira?
this is already garbage. only money loosing and nonsense
target 7500
7500 would not hold if 7700 does not. In such a case 7200 is in the cards
Could this be forming a double bottom? if yes, 8200 or 7700?
Yes, probably, but I won't trade this. And something around 8200 would have been a good entry with SL around 7700.
Any chance to going up
Thats my hope
Lets see now.. Long position 8501
SL blown
There we go :) 8000 should be next.. As London Cocoa is also losing its grip
Out from SP at 8400 to 8030, almost at target but no need to chase 30 handles
CFTC's Non-Commercial Net Long Positioning 1YR Z-Score favours new ATH.
Clueless. Lagging indicator and not a good indicator in this market
LOL
The ATH is in. Look at the spreads. You don't know how to trade commodities.
If it closes above 8700, then ATH. Else somewhere around 6500, then ATH.
No. I was talking to Jan. Last week the back month contracts made new highs while the two front months didn't. Bearish divergence which signaled the all time high was in. When CNBC spends an enormous time talking about Cocoa after such a big move up you know the highs are in.
Almost as good of a reverse indicator as this forum
pls shut up moron
Sl set at 8800 in profit for the short of 8900 in case. Although it will go down only
Tulipmania / cocoamania
At this point, its more surprising when cocoa doesnt move >10% in a day.
Long again!
Above 8700 is up.
