It was an ugly day on Wall Street, but a pretty good day trading for The Tech Traders. We caught a lot of nice winners intraday. Let's take a look at some of them.
Pacific Biosciences of California, Inc. (O:PACB), which we did great with, and on Wednesday, it had a pullback little falling wedge. It popped a little bit, up just 8 cents to 9.79, on 1.9 million shares. It seems like, with the volume and technicals the way they look, this could take off at any moment and be a 12-13-dollar stock.
Silver Spring Networks, Inc. (N:SSNI), which we put a swing on Wednesday, popped 1.00 to 15.74, or 6.8%, on a million shares through resistance on Wednesday. There are multiple tops here. It has 5.7 days to cover. With million shares traded and the OBV spiked, this stock looks like it wants to go to 18, and then 21.
TherapeuticsMD, Inc. (N:TXMD) had a swing put on it after it popped and pulled back. It closed nicely on an inside day, up just 2 cents to 9.08, less than one percent, on 6.3 million shares. It looks like it’s going to head for 11 at the top of the channel. Once it gets through that, look for a run to 13-14. It has 24 days to cover.
Vera Bradley, Inc. (O:VRA) had a very big day on Wednesday, up 5.39 to 17.08, or 46%, on 7.3 million shares. When a stock pops and goes up 46%, this is a stock that wants to go higher. I’d love to see a consolidation pullback. If it gets one, look for it to run up to 21. This stock has 15 days to cover.
