1. BioNTech
Biontech (NASDAQ:BNTX) was up 7.42, or 10 1/2%, on Monday, to 77.78, after reaching a session high of 84.86, on 8.5 million shares traded. In after-hours it popped another 2.22. You can see the big pop under the coil or wedge that it was in, and on big volume it reversed near resistance and backed off. If there is any kind of market momentum going forward, and this gets through 85, it could run to as high as 100-105.
2. Moderna
Modern (NASDAQ:MRNA) popped out of a 6-week consolidation on Monday. Volume picked up 56.6 million shares traded, on a move up of 9.17, or 14.7%, to 71.78, with an afternoon session high of 77.75. It ran another 2.97 to 74.75 in after-hours. I would look for a test of the highs around 87, and then something in the 100-105 range.
3. Novavax
Novavax (NASDAQ:NVAX) exploded past 100 on Monday, popping 9.96, or 10 1/2%, to 104.32, tagging a new high of 113.98, on 8.6 million shares traded. It pulled back about 10 points off the high, but gained 1.18 in after-hours, taking it up to 105.50. If it accelerates, the target is 145.
4. Sunrun
Sunrun (NASDAQ:RUN) had a big day on Monday. You can see that it exploded to the top of the channel, or, technically, through the top of the channel, jumping 1.30, or 4%, to 30.09, to a new all-time high at 33.27, before backing off. Volume of 11.2 million shares traded, which was big volume in play here.
5. SmileDirectClub
SmileDirectClub(NASDAQ:SDC) popped out of a long coil on Monday, gaining 60 cents, or 7.32%, to 8.86, with a session high of 9.22, on 8.5 million shares traded, the biggest volume traded on this stock in a couple months. Now the challenge is whether it can run up and take out the 9.90 to 10.25 zone, which is resistance. If it does that, it’s headed to 12-13.
