Aurora Cannabis (NYSE:ACB) jumped 5.90, or 52.68%, to 17.10, after reaching a session high of 19.68, on 97 million shares traded, and another 1.49 to 18.58 in after-hours. After a 1 for 12 reverse split this stock has gone from 5.30 to Monday’s high at 19.68. It’s long-in-the-tooth, and overbought, but I’m looking at 22, and maybe mid 20’s as the next targets.
Oncolytics Biotech (NASDAQ:ONCY) popped to resistance on Monday, gaining 61 cents, or 30%, to 2.66, just 4 cents off the session high at 2.70, on 7.3 million shares traded, and another 14 cents in after-hours. Watch the 2.85 zone going forward as early as tomorrow morning. If it get through that, you’re looking at 3.75 and 4.50 next.
Surgery Partners (NASDAQ:SGRY) popped and exploded on Monday for 2.35, or 24%, to 12.22, with a session high of 12.61, on 1.8 million shares traded. The double-top at resistance should be considered at 12.95. If gets through that, then 14 1/2 is the next target.
Cenovus Energy Inc. (NYSE:CVE) is a really-neat, low-priced oil stock. It broke into cue key resistance on Monday and into the gap, popping 73 cents, or 19.68%, to 4.44, just 3 cents of the session high at 4.47, or 8 million shares traded. It could lead to 5, and then to 6 going forward.
Penn National Gaming, Inc. (NASDAQ:PENN), another gaming stock on the list and a swing stock, made a big pop in April, pulled back, broke out and I gave you a swing on it. On Monday it popped again for 2.90, or 15%, to 22.25, with a session high of 22.80, on 19.4 million shares traded, and an additional 15 cents in after-hours. There’s resistance, but if there is a follow-through, it might see 28.
Fox Factory Holding Corp. (NASDAQ:FOXF) popped out of a double-top, with a breakaway gap and good volume on Monday, moving up 7.56, or 13 1/2%, to 63.66, after a morning session high of 66.24, on 558,456 shares traded. I’m looking for an extension to 70-77
