Investing.com – U.S. stocks turned mixed to lower Tuesday after weak services sector data.
U.S. crude gave up its gains as hopes of an output freeze turned cold.
The DJI was down 0.11% at 10:45 ET, while the S&P 500 fell 0.13%.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq composite was up 0.08%.
The ISM’s non-manufacturing index fell to 51.4 in August against a forecast fall to 55.0.
Monsanto (NYSE:MON) was up 0.55% at $108.03 after Bayer (DE:BAYGN) raised its offer to $127.5 a share.
