Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Leasing & Factoring, Banking and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Tat Konserve (IS:TATGD), which rose 8.50% or 0.630 points to trade at 8.040 at the close. Meanwhile, Galatasaray Sportif (IS:GSRAY) added 3.93% or 1.00 points to end at 26.46 and Metro Holding (IS:METRO) was up 3.79% or 0.050 points to 1.370 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kartonsan (IS:KARTN), which fell 3.23% or 10.50 points to trade at 314.50 at the close. Alcatel Lucent Teletas Telekomunikasyon AS Class A (IS:ALCTL) declined 3.13% or 0.270 points to end at 8.350 and Dogan Holding (IS:DOHOL) was down 2.90% or 0.020 points to 0.670.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 187 to 158 and 60 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for April delivery was down 0.18% or 2.20 to $1201.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 0.99% or 0.49 to hit $48.79 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract fell 1.09% or 0.57 to trade at $51.62 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.90% to 3.7404, while EUR/TRY fell 0.22% to 3.9865.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 101.49.
