Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.34%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb), which fell 0.07% or 0.1 points to trade at 142.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) fell 0.32% or 1.0 points to end at 313.2 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was down 0.44% or 0.17 points to 38.28 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 2.83% or 2.90 points to trade at 99.60 at the close. Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) declined 2.59% or 3.80 points to end at 143.10 and Svenska Handelsbanken ser. A (ST:SHBa) was down 1.87% or 2.2 points to 115.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 445 to 146 and 58 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 3.06% or 1.36 to $45.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.71% or 1.26 to hit $47.74 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.12% or 1.65 to trade at $1343.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.08% to 9.6007, while USD/SEK fell 0.26% to 8.5212.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.31% at 95.11.
