Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which rose 2.13% or 0.73 points to trade at 34.98 at the close. Meanwhile, Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) added 0.52% or 1.3 points to end at 250.7 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was up 0.21% or 0.4 points to 193.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which fell 2.96% or 6.80 points to trade at 223.00 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 2.56% or 2.15 points to end at 81.95 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was down 2.46% or 4.3 points to 170.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 391 to 218 and 56 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.93% or 1.31 to $43.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.90% or 1.33 to hit $44.51 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 2.76% or 34.95 to trade at $1231.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.13% to 9.8604, while USD/SEK rose 0.66% to 9.0955.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.27% at 99.06.
