Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Technology and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 1.35% or 0.40 points to trade at 30.13 at the close. Meanwhile, Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) added 1.20% or 1.76 points to end at 148.56 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 0.38% or 0.15 points to 39.95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb), which fell 2.45% or 1.52 points to trade at 60.48 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 1.73% or 10.0 points to end at 568.0 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was down 1.38% or 3.9 points to 277.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 441 to 266 and 81 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.28% or 1.03 to $46.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.01% or 0.96 to hit $48.75 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.63 to trade at $1223.33 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.06% to 9.6393, while USD/SEK fell 0.44% to 8.4489.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 95.65.
