Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Telecoms and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which rose 0.98% or 2.5 points to trade at 257.3 at the close. Meanwhile, AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) added 0.72% or 1.2 points to end at 167.6 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was up 0.71% or 1.40 points to 198.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Getinge AB ser. B (BS:GETIBs), which fell 1.28% or 1.9 points to trade at 146.6 at the close. Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) declined 0.79% or 1.2 points to end at 150.8 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was down 0.78% or 3.9 points to 497.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 335 to 247 and 87 ended unchanged.
Shares in Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) rose to all time highs; rising 0.71% or 1.40 to 198.10.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.17% or 0.09 to $53.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.25% or 0.14 to hit $56.71 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.06% or 0.75 to trade at $1157.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.22% to 9.5842, while USD/SEK fell 0.44% to 9.0819.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.48% at 102.17.
