Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Telecoms and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA), which rose 3.50% or 1.51 points to trade at 44.69 at the close. Meanwhile, Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) added 1.86% or 0.98 points to end at 53.73 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 1.28% or 0.45 points to 35.48 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which fell 0.47% or 0.8 points to trade at 170.1 at the close. Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) declined 0.16% or 0.15 points to end at 96.50 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was down 0.15% or 0.10 points to 66.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 402 to 203 and 65 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.13% or 0.07 to $53.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.33% or 0.18 to hit $55.23 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.34% or 3.85 to trade at $1134.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.18% to 9.6118, while USD/SEK fell 0.30% to 9.1968.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 103.00.
