Investing.com – Spain stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Telecoms & IT and Financial Services & Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 rose 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were Grifols SA (MC:GRLS), which rose 1.23% or 0.285 points to trade at 23.390 at the close. Meanwhile, Viscofan (MC:VIS) added 1.05% or 0.500 points to end at 48.215 and Mapfre (MC:MAP) was up 1.04% or 0.033 points to 3.191 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were B. Sabadell (MC:SABE), which fell 1.62% or 0.027 points to trade at 1.644 at the close. Banco Popular (MC:POP) declined 1.23% or 0.010 points to end at 0.805 and Acerinox (MC:ACX) was down 1.18% or 0.155 points to 13.000.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 93 to 73 and 12 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for June delivery was up 0.35% or 4.35 to $1258.35 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 1.61% or 0.81 to hit $51.05 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract rose 1.94% or 1.03 to trade at $54.15 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.03% to 1.0667, while EUR/GBP rose 0.40% to 0.8578.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 100.46.
