Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Financial Services, Energy & Utilities and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 2.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010), which rose 4.40% or 0.80 points to trade at 19.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) added 3.17% or 3.25 points to end at 105.75 and Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) was up 2.87% or 0.45 points to 16.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050), which fell 9.88% or 2.00 points to trade at 18.25 at the close. Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260) declined 8.47% or 1.05 points to end at 11.35 and Saudi Hollandi Bank (SE:1040) was down 7.18% or 0.70 points to 9.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 139 to 27 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) fell to 5-year lows; losing 9.88% or 2.00 to 18.25. Shares in Saudi Hollandi Bank (SE:1040) fell to 5-year lows; falling 7.18% or 0.70 to 9.05.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.72% or 0.87 to $49.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.60% or 0.84 to hit $51.67 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.47% or 5.95 to trade at $1258.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.44% to 4.2020, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7519.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 96.52.
