Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Transport, Industrial Investment and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.83%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160), which rose 9.89% or 0.90 points to trade at 10.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) added 8.64% or 0.70 points to end at 8.80 and ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130) was up 7.92% or 2.90 points to 39.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050), which fell 3.95% or 0.90 points to trade at 21.90 at the close. Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) declined 3.93% or 1.90 points to end at 46.40 and Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) was down 3.72% or 1.00 points to 25.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 104 to 45 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.22% or 0.11 to $49.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $49.95 a barrel, while the August Gold contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1216.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.73% to 4.1677, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7501.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.62% at 95.73.
