Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Petrochemicals, Financial Services and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.20%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8310), which rose 9.98% or 1.68 points to trade at 18.52 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Real Estate Co. (TADAWUL:4020) added 7.19% or 1.18 points to end at 17.60 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) was up 6.46% or 3.40 points to 56.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabian Mining Company (TADAWUL:1211), which fell 4.92% or 3.20 points to trade at 61.90 at the close. BANK ALBILAD (TADAWUL:1140) declined 3.40% or 1.70 points to end at 48.30 and Almarai Company (TADAWUL:2280) was down 3.28% or 1.80 points to 53.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 131 to 93 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.67% or 1.91 to $116.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.75% or 2.02 to hit $117.62 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.20% or 3.70 to trade at $1,844.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.61% to 4.00, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.63% at 102.40.
