Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financial Services, Hotels & Tourism and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.48%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.93% or 0.70 points to trade at 7.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) added 8.75% or 3.70 points to end at 46.00 and Bank AlJazira (SE:1020) was up 6.54% or 0.70 points to 11.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Halwani Bros (SE:6001), which fell 3.33% or 1.75 points to trade at 50.75 at the close. Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) declined 1.95% or 1.25 points to end at 62.75 and Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002) was down 1.44% or 1.75 points to 119.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 114 to 43 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.65% or 0.33 to $50.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.78% or 0.40 to hit $51.06 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.38% or 4.85 to trade at $1268.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.18% to 4.0736, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.33% at 98.97.
