Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Industrial Investment and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070), which rose 10.41% or 3.80 points to trade at 40.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) added 10.20% or 3.60 points to end at 38.90 and Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060) was up 10.00% or 3.50 points to 38.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (SE:2380), which fell 5.36% or 0.70 points to trade at 12.35 at the close. Al Hokair Group (SE:1820) declined 2.03% or 0.60 points to end at 28.90 and Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330) was down 1.46% or 0.15 points to 10.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 137 to 23 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 3.60% or 1.72 to $49.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 3.34% or 1.70 to hit $52.54 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 7.58 to trade at $1235.28 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.44% to 4.1178, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 98.72.
