Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Multi Investment, Insurance and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which rose 7.52% or 1.20 points to trade at 17.15 at the close. Meanwhile, AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) added 4.65% or 1.09 points to end at 24.55 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) was up 4.62% or 2.44 points to 55.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which fell 4.09% or 0.57 points to trade at 13.35 at the close. Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) declined 2.06% or 1.05 points to end at 49.90 and Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) was down 2.02% or 0.31 points to 15.05.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 128 to 35.
Shares in Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) fell to 3-years lows; losing 2.02% or 0.31 to 15.05.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.66% or 0.39 to $59.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.91% or 0.59 to hit $66.22 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.60% or 7.10 to trade at $1190.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.63% to 4.2104, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.52% at 94.62.
