Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Energy & Utilities and Real Estate Development sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 2.02%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The Qassim Cement Co (SE:3040), which rose 9.90% or 4.00 points to trade at 44.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080) added 9.58% or 2.40 points to end at 27.45 and Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) was up 9.46% or 3.65 points to 42.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120), which fell 3.55% or 0.44 points to trade at 11.94 at the close. Saudi Cement Company (SE:3030) declined 3.54% or 2.40 points to end at 65.40 and Leejam Sports Company SJSC (SE:1830) was down 3.11% or 2.10 points to 65.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 107 to 69 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in The Qassim Cement Co (SE:3040) rose to 52-week highs; rising 9.90% or 4.00 to 44.40. Shares in Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080) rose to 52-week highs; up 9.58% or 2.40 to 27.45. Shares in Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) rose to 5-year highs; rising 9.46% or 3.65 to 42.25.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.48% or 0.28 to $58.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.51% or 0.35 to hit $68.42 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 7.55 to trade at $1276.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.06% to 4.1957, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 97.683.
