Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Multi Investment and Real Estate Development sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Riyad REIT (SE:4330), which rose 3.90% or 0.30 points to trade at 8.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110) added 3.37% or 0.60 points to end at 18.38 and Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) was up 3.18% or 0.31 points to 10.06 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Petrochemical Company (SE:2002), which fell 2.03% or 0.50 points to trade at 24.12 at the close. Saudi Arabia Fertilizers Co. (SE:2020) declined 1.64% or 1.40 points to end at 83.90 and Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) was down 1.37% or 0.24 points to 17.22.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 149 to 32 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.38% or 0.22 to $58.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.47% or 0.30 to hit $64.48 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.38% or 19.55 to trade at $1437.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.04% to 4.2721, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 95.488.
