Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Hotels & Tourism and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050), which rose 9.84% or 2.37 points to trade at 26.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) added 6.65% or 1.84 points to end at 29.50 and Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) was up 6.24% or 1.34 points to 22.82 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220), which fell 3.07% or 0.41 points to trade at 12.94 at the close. Samba Financial Group (SE:1090) declined 2.24% or 0.51 points to end at 22.28 and City Cement Co (SE:3003) was down 1.86% or 0.18 points to 9.52.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 119 to 48 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) rose to 3-years highs; up 9.84% or 2.37 to 26.45. Shares in Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 6.24% or 1.34 to 22.82. Shares in City Cement Co (SE:3003) fell to all time lows; losing 1.86% or 0.18 to 9.52.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.62% or 0.32 to $51.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.98% or 0.56 to hit $57.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 2.21 to trade at $1306.81 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.05% to 4.4317, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7513.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 92.97.
