Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financial Services, Hotels & Tourism and Cement sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Petrochemical Company (SE:2002), which rose 5.93% or 2.75 points to trade at 49.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Methanol Chemicals Company (SE:2001) added 4.59% or 1.70 points to end at 38.70 and Dur Hospitality (SE:4010) was up 4.20% or 1.40 points to 34.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040), which fell 4.19% or 2.50 points to trade at 57.20 at the close. Jadwa REIT Saudi Fund (SE:4342) declined 3.65% or 0.54 points to end at 14.26 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) was down 3.62% or 1.100 points to 29.250.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 127 to 70 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Methanol Chemicals Company (SE:2001) rose to all time highs; up 4.59% or 1.70 to 38.70.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.15% or 0.12 to $80.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.19% or 0.16 to hit $83.49 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.66% or 11.60 to trade at $1767.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.13% to 4.3263, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 94.502.
