Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Industrials and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 fell 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Corticeira Amorim (LS:CORA), which rose 2.41% or 0.180 points to trade at 7.641 at the close. Meanwhile, Galp Energia Nom (LS:GALP) added 1.81% or 0.2200 points to end at 12.4000 and Semapa (LS:SEM) was up 1.72% or 0.1850 points to 10.9200 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pharol SGPS SA (LS:PHRA), which fell 2.94% or 0.0050 points to trade at 0.1650 at the close. Nos SGPS SA (LS:NOS) declined 1.88% or 0.1110 points to end at 5.7790 and CTT Correios de Portugal SA (LS:CTT) was down 1.74% or 0.1300 points to 7.3200.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 32 to 15 and 4 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for October delivery was up 3.68% or 1.54 to $43.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 3.97% or 1.57 to hit $41.08 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.62% or 8.50 to trade at $1364.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.68% to 1.1148, while EUR/GBP fell 0.37% to 0.8373.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.51% at 95.50.
