Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Media and Energy sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.78%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG), which rose 3.56% or 14.7 points to trade at 427.6 at the close. Meanwhile, SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) added 1.66% or 4.10 points to end at 251.50 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was up 1.33% or 0.02 points to 1.14 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which fell 4.19% or 0.9 points to trade at 20.8 at the close. Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) declined 4.16% or 2.65 points to end at 61.10 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was down 3.67% or 0.96 points to 25.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 119 to 56 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.10% or 0.05 to $50.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.04% or 0.02 to hit $51.83 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.35% or 4.35 to trade at $1258.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.02% to 9.0450, while USD/NOK fell 0.31% to 8.1903.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.36% at 97.64.
