Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Auto & components and Capital Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.48%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Opera Software ASA (OL:OPERA), which rose 4.29% or 2.55 points to trade at 62.00 at the close. Meanwhile, REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) added 2.38% or 0.05 points to end at 1.94 and Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE) was up 1.20% or 0.4 points to 33.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC), which fell 9.06% or 7.0 points to trade at 70.8 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 6.53% or 1.46 points to end at 20.89 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) was down 5.45% or 1.70 points to 29.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 105 to 64 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.99% or 0.46 to $46.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.56% or 0.27 to hit $47.81 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.07% or 0.85 to trade at $1272.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.36% to 9.2828, while USD/NOK rose 1.06% to 8.2149.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.62% at 94.69.
