Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Food, Beverages & Tobacco, Materials and Commercial Service And Supplies sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 4.43% or 9.7 points to trade at 228.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) added 3.16% or 6.0 points to end at 196.0 and Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) was up 0.95% or 0.45 points to 47.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which fell 7.08% or 0.29 points to trade at 3.81 at the close. Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) declined 4.58% or 2.90 points to end at 60.45 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was down 4.36% or 0.73 points to 16.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 91 to 87 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.43% or 0.20 to $46.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.48% or 0.23 to hit $48.52 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 3.44 to trade at $1265.46 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.53% to 9.4472, while USD/NOK fell 0.45% to 8.4381.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 97.06.
