Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Commercial Service And Supplies and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 5.31% or 0.06 points to trade at 1.19 at the close. Meanwhile, Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) added 3.73% or 7.0 points to end at 194.5 and Schibsted ASA B (OL:SBSTB) was up 3.42% or 6.00 points to 181.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which fell 4.25% or 1.4 points to trade at 32.5 at the close. Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) declined 3.91% or 2.55 points to end at 62.70 and DnB ASA (OL:DNB) was down 1.75% or 2.3 points to 128.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 92 to 82 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.11% or 0.06 to $53.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.29% or 0.16 to hit $55.05 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.44% or 5.00 to trade at $1142.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.28% to 9.0436, while USD/NOK fell 0.24% to 8.6584.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.19% at 102.73.
